1 Asian Outside Sales Representative/Springfield Area

Sysco Central Illinois, Inc., based in Lincoln, Illinois, is seeking aggressive and career minded sales associates to sell the highest quality food service items, supply and equipment and other related products to restaurants, lodging establishments, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and other institutions in the Springfield, Illinois area.

Requirements:
We are looking for people who have a passion for sales and have food service experience that know our industry and what it takes to succeed. More specifically we are looking for candidates who possess general management, food service management and/or outside sales experience. Applicants must live within 30 miles of Springfield to be considered for one of the available positions.
Specific requirements include:
- Bi-lingual in Chinese (Mandarin) and English to service our Asian food customers in Peoria, Illinois and surrounding area in Central Illinois.
- High-energy individuals who possess strong work ethics, competitiveness, resilience, excellent communication and liaison skills
- Previous outside sales experience in food industry preferred
- Willingness to prospect and the ability to fully service accounts
Physical requirements:
Must be physically able to call on customer accounts, safely lift products and equipment of up to 70 lbs. in weight; manually from the seat or trunk of a vehicle, and hand carry them into customer locations. This may involve the climbing of stairs or ramps, and may be required in all types of weather conditions.
Other requirements:
Must provide reliable personal vehicle and maintain a valid state driver’s license and auto liability insurance limits of at least 100/300/100.
- No DUI convictions
- No criminal convictions
- No more than 1 vehicle accident or 2 traffic tickets within the last three years

Drivers Needed

Sysco Central Illinois, Inc. is currently looking for local drivers to be dispatched out of our Lincoln, IL location.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Class A CDL driver’s license, at least 21 years of age, no moving violations during the past two years, and have a least twelve months driving experience with a Class A driver’s license. The ideal candidate will have delivery experience unloading a trailer with a two wheel dolly. Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule with varied starting times, which includes working a four or five day work week out and back same day. Saturday hours are sometimes required.

Must be physically able to call on customer accounts, safely lift products and equipment of up to 70 lbs. in weight; manually from the seat or trunk of a vehicle, and hand carry them into customer locations.
